Humanity is one of the many values that Xoxoday holds up. The company strives to not leave any stone unturned when it comes to serving responsibility towards the society it belongs to. Even though the company is in a growing stage, Xoxoday doesn’t miss an opportunity to undertake activities which could benefit the disadvantaged sections of society one way or the other.
The HR policies of Xoxoday encourage employees to take some time out of their busy schedules for their fellow citizens who are not adequately privileged to enjoy a good quality of life. Those who have the heart to do something constructive for society, are readily allotted paid leave by the organization.
There are some in-office activities too that keep taking place from time to time to this effect. All employees of Xoxoday took some time out of their work on Republic day to make a few goodies for kids of Make A Difference (MAD), an NGO that mobilizes young leaders to ensure equitable outcomes for children in shelters across India. The kids were gifted goodies bags containing notebooks and pen, along with customized bracelets with the girls’ names engraved on them as a token of love.
Kanchan Mewara, Manager, Host Content Team, who has cashed in on this wonderful opportunity, shares her experience, ”It’s great to be a part of an organization that not only promotes CSR outside working hours, but also facilitates a day off as CSR leave for those who really want to do their bit for anybody. I availed CSR leave to be with differently-abled kids, who either are blind or are suffering from major optical issues.
It was great to spend the day with them, to serve lunch, evening snacks/tea/coffee to the kids and the best part being to play with them. I often visit such places on weekends and these places are either crowded by visitors, or we happen to spoil the kids’ weekend activity time. Spending a weekday with them was really fruitful in more ways than one. I sincerely thank Xoxoday for promoting CSR by gifting employees a day off, dedicated just for something which gives immense pleasure.”
